ENGINEERING JOBS
Progressive Global Energy are representing one of the largest supplier's of systems and equipment for subsea oil and gas production in sourcing an experienced and talented Quality Engineer.
Manage quality assurance activities for the companies Energy Systems and Fluid Controls Division - maintain ISO 9001 certification, conduct internal quality system audits, coordinate resolution to Quality Notifications (Nonconformances) and sign-off on Metallurgical Test Reports to qualify the suppliers of components used in oil and natural gas production
Technical qualifications. Minimum certificate of apprenticeship, bachelor degree or equivalent job experience.
Electro – mechanical and hydraulic knowledge preferable.
Experience from follow up on suppliers/fabrication, preferably offshore related.
Knowledge of the laws, regulations and Industry Standards like ISO 9001 and Norsok is an advantage.
This is a full time position based in Lanarkshire
Salary is dependent on the experience of the candidate.
Good communication skills, both orally and written.
Ability to work independently, in a team and prioritize own work.
Ability to structure your work.
A wish for accepting challenges and development within the area of Quality.
