Our client, a major EPCM in the oil and gas industry is seeking candidates for roles within their contracts division. We are accepting applications for a Subcontracts Lead who fits the below qualifications;
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Functional Lead for the subcontracts department, supporting all Canada Inc. business.
- Deliver subcontract/commercial support in a safe, timely and cost effective manner, in line with contractual requirements, to the satisfaction of clients.
- Commercial and contractual administration of subcontracts to optimize value for the Client.
- Alignment of subcontract terms with main contracts to optimize value to the company.
- Foster an environment of openness, trust and honesty in support of core values.
- Ensure all applicable processes, management systems and appropriate organizational structure is in place and operating effectively.
- Monitor subcontracts team workload and resources.
- Foster good relationships with customers, subcontractors and vendors at commercial and contractual level.
- Train and develop subcontracts personnel to aid in the development of succession plans for key positions.
- Maximize effective use of the network.
- Ensure that all contracts personnel comply with health, safety, environmental and quality policies and procedures; Support HSEQ department to ensure Subcontractors adhere to legislated and contractual HSEQ requirements; demonstrate safety leadership and promote safety both in the workplace & at home.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Effective organizational and planning skills.
- Ten plus (10+) years of relevant experience in Subcontracts. Oil and Gas experience preferred.
- Subcontracts background usually associated with a Commerce or Engineering Degree.
