Candidates Responsibilities are: Coordinate the engineering aspects of the project within the electrical engineering discipline to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget and schedule. Review and monitor project electrical Field Design Changes, Concession Requests, and Non¬conformance Reports. Monitor Contractor’s performance and provide advice as necessary Monitor and review Contractor’s electrical engineering construction effort and make recommendations to Engineering Manager and Project Engineers. Provide technical support and advice to all electrical tie-in activities. Coordinate the field installation of the company’s own system. Monitor Contractor’s and vendors’ quality control effort. Provide start-up and commissioning support to company. Works in an evolving business environment where expansion opportunities are being identified on a continuous basis adding additional complexity and workload to the existing project environment. Works effectively within established policies and procedures, and participates in the further development of these to meet changing needs. Willingness to tackle a variety of tasks in response to evolving business needs. Interfaces among various project teams and departments on issues relating to the position. This requires effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration. Exhibits team leadership skills, integrity, interpersonal understanding, and self-confidence. Utilizes a systematic approach to problem solving that ensures accuracy, timeliness and quality of documentation in resolution. Able to work moderately complex tasks to completion within time constrains of Project, with minimal guidance from more experienced staff. Participates in the resolution of problems using precedent and own acquired knowledge. | |
