I am recruiting for a Training and Development Manager to be based in Central Europe on a staff basis.

Job Function
Purpose of the Role The Training and Development Manager will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of a variety of professional training and development programs for all employees. He/She will work to research and implement best practices for ongoing training in employee excellence, and will hold responsibilities for the coordination, promotion and evaluation of employee development programs in Europe. Other responsibilities will include collaboration with management staff to assess and facilitate employee training needs, identification of training needs through the performance of gap analysis, job analysis, appraisal schemes/performance reviews and regular consultations with management He/She will also be in charge of developing a Talent management strategy and succession planning.



Objectives
- Identify training and development needs through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources departments;
- Design and develop training and development program strategy based on both the organization's and the individual's needs;
- Assess the return on investment of any training or development program to ensure maximum benefit to employees and the organization in a cost oriented manner.
- Developing effective induction program;
- Produce training materials for in-house courses including Code of Conduct with the Legal Department
- Facilitate the delivery of training and development programs Negotiate services and contracts with vendors, including training outcomes, fees, and expenses.
- Coordinate outside resources as they relate to business/training needs.
- Organize and develop training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials such as handouts and visual aids.
- Develop Talent Management and induction as well as succession planning strategies
- Drive performance review process
- Contribute to the enhancement of the induction process

Others Functional skills :
Proven experience in a T&D Generalist role (min. 10 years)
Understanding of the E&P industry and challenges
Ability to develop and implement strategies efficiently in line with business requirements
Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail required.

Behavioral skills
Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Excellent writing skills, including proper spelling and grammar in both English and preferably French.
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
Motivated individual with proven initiative.
Must have effective verbal and written communications skills.
Hands on operational and strategical approach
Use to working in multinational/multicultural environment.
Analytical and interpretation skills

Experience
Experience in the Oil & Gas industry required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources management required or equivalent experience.
10 years of work experience in training and development.
Willing to travel
