Engineer – Safety & Occupational Health

Responsibilities:
  • Conducts work site inspections, monitoring and analysis to ensure that safety, health and environmental standards are met and respond to complaints
  • Perform a walk through work sites to determine whether health, safety and environmental hazards have been identified, assessed and controlled
  • Determine if adequate safety, health and environmental procedures are present and document uncontrolled hazards
  • Issue reports that outline observations, conclusions and where minimum standards have not been met
  • Monitor to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Conducts investigations of fatal and serious work site incidents such as;
  • Review site conditions; take detailed notes, photographs and/or videos, and developing scene diagrams, maps and sketches
  • Support CSMS (Contractor SHE Management System) implementation; including but not limited to Pre-qualification assessment, developing of SHE plan, project implementation, and final evaluation
  • Prepares periodic and other required reports, as well as other relevant data and records, such as Accident Report and any government required reports
  • Performs all other duties as may be required by the business needs
Requirements:
  • Requires a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree (S1) majoring in Safety & Occupational Health or other engineering disciplines.
  • Experience minimum 5 (five) years in field, technical operations and management of SHE of Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industries.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Hold General Safety Expert (Ahli K3 Umum) from Ministry of Workforce (Depnaker/MIGAS) and Industrial Hygiene (HIMU/HIMA) certification is preferred
  • Good communication in English (write & verbal)
