I am currently recruiting for a permanent Electronics Design
Engineer role with a key client in of ours in Stavanger, and I wanted to
check if this is something that is of interest to you or anyone you may
know.
They client are known for being a specialist well-bore technology company with high focus on innovation, serving the global Oil & Gas exploration and production industry.
They are specialist in design, development, manufacture and qualification of all types of well-bore technologies yet also have the skills and capabilities take their products to the market. As a result they are known for having some of the most capable engineers in the market.
The position available:
Electronics Design Engineer.
The above role will be reporting to the Engineering Manager and the client sees it as highly important for the candidate to have good communication skills and the ability to lead a team. The reason for this is that the role have scope for future career progression.
The client is looking for:
* 6 years experience minimum
* Electronic design and integrated mechanical design
* Down hole experience or other well equipment
* Some experience with system architecture design for downhole systems
* Some experience with firmware design for downhole electronics
* Some years' experience with design and development for downhole electronics (sensor conditioning, motor controllers, micro controllers)
The key aspects of the role involves being a member of the design team and perform overall architectural integrated electronics design according to customer contract and scope of work.
