My client, a major player in the Oil and Gas industry, are looking for a technical Safety Design Engineer!
The role involves:
- Being involved from the very beginning IE pre FEED/pre concept,
- Hazard identification,
- fire explosion analysis,
- Writing detailed safety designs
- Project work
- provide technical guidance on all issues relating to safety IE looking at Risk and HSEQ,hazards and the potential consequences
- conducting safety assessment
- safety design for onshoreand offshoreprojects
- conducting studies relating to Safety and Risk

Background/ Skills needed:
- Ideally 5-10 years+
- preferably degree qualified
- Essential studies inc. HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, FERA etc
- experience carrying out formal safety assessments,
- onshore/offshore,
- Safety and Risk,
- experience conducting workshops
- writing Safety cases,
- Design
- you would have a background in Safety or Process Engineering
- you may come from a background such as Oil and Gas/ Mining/ Nuclear etc
- project work
