Responsibilities:
Prepare manufacturing process plans and follow through process, tooling and WIP inspection requirements whilst ensuring smooth completion of products. Monitor and improve machining efficiency, process efficiency and introduce new tooling technology. Undertake manufacturing projects and work with project teams to advise and follow through manufacturing related matters. Also provide technical support to satellite plants. Recommend best manufacturing practices. Lead and supervisor a group of production specialists.

Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelors’ Degree in Production / Mechanical Engineering.
At least 2 - 4 years’ relevant experience in the metal machining industry.
Familiar with manual and CNC Lathes as well as Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM).
Good contacts with tooling suppliers and experience in tooling design.
Also experienced in producing manufacturing process plans, setting up product lines and doing some machine tool evaluation.
Possess hands-on experience in CNC Lathe and HBM Programming.
Possess good lean manufacturing methodology or six sigma knowledge and experience
Candidates with Unigraphics CAM knowledge will be an added advantage.
