The position of Senior Drilling Engineer, reports to the Manager Drilling and Production. The Senior Drilling Engineer will provide technical support to the operations teams and new business development teams in the company, including drilling project management, implementation of new technologies, innovative work practices and cost saving initiatives.
You will take a leading role in the continued preparation, introduction and implementation of an ambitious programmable to improve the economics of the company's drilling related activities. Core themes are execution of Single String Ventures, the introduction of new drilling-related technologies, innovative working practices, cost saving initiatives and support for training and development programmes of junior production staff.
You will need -
Engineering graduate (or equivalent) with extensive relevant international experience in the E&P business, with emphasis on drilling and workover technology, including supervisory, planning and design activities.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, having first-class inter-personal, communication and motivating skills. Fluent in English language.
