Progressive are working on behalf of a growing oil & gas exploration and production Company. With assets in the North West Shelf and interests in major development projects worldwide, we are currently sourcing a Senior Reservoir Engineer with a high level of technical expertise to join an exceptional team who have a high level of innovation that push boundaries.
The successful applicant will work within a small multidisciplinary team to oversee the subsurface aspects of the company’s development programs and support the planning to quantify & test exploration opportunities. Your main responsibilities will involve reservoir simulation, model building, production forecasting, decline curve analysis, field development planning, reservoir performance monitoring, and data acquisition programs & reserves evaluation.
Requirements:
* Degree in Reservoir/ Petroleum Engineering or related subject
* 10+ yrs experience in the Petroleum Industry
* Wide ranging experience and a high level of expertise in key reservoir engineering methodologies and applications (eg. reservoir simulation, water/gas injection, EOR, development planning, well testing etc..);
* Be able to undertake petroleum engineering aspects of data acquisition activities manage resources and associated capital and operating budgets and provide technical and operational support to colleagues.
* Experience in simulation & multi phase analysis. Knowledge of petroleum engineering/production software (eclipse / petrel).
* Operational experience in Oil and Gas fields and Project Management
* Excellent Communication and Leadership skills to work with a small diverse group
* Self motivated & forward thinking
