An exciting position has opened up for a Senior Reservoir Engineer, to provide high-quality reservoir engineering support as a participant within a major global consultancy based in Perth. The successful applicant will have a solid combination of technical expertise & commercial awareness and play a vital role in identifying new opportunities & effectively manage and plan extensive projects both locally & internationally.
Main Duties:
* Due diligence of acquisitions & divestment
* Recover optimization of undeveloped or developed fields
* Exploration & valuation of portfolios

Requirements:
* Degree in Reservoir/ Petroleum Engineering or related subject
* 8 to 15 + yrs experience in the Petroleum Industry
* Wide ranging experience and expertise in key reservoir engineering methodologies and applications (eg. reservoir simulation, water/gas injection, EOR, development planning, well testing etc..);
* Knowledge of petroleum engineering/production software
* Well rounded knowledge in production technology, well performance, CSG or heavy oil is desired
* Excellent Communication and Leadership skills to work with a diverse group
* Willingness to learn and accept new challenges
* Business savvy and forward thinking
* Be motivated to work in a fast paced & rewarding environment
