Or client is a leading provider of professional services to the resources & energy sectors and complex process industries. They have an immediate opening for a Principal Technical Consultant to be the Project Lead Technical Structural Engineer for a large topsides (25,000 tons). Responsible for coordinating the development, analysis, and maintenance of the topsides structural analysis model, the structural PDMS model, and the structural 2-D draft drawings.

Job Requirements: BA/BS in related field or applicable discipline preferred, or equivalent years experience with 20 plus years hydrocarbon processing industry experience.
Must have previous experience leading the design of offshore topsides modules in excess of 20,000 tons, including GBS interface, PDMS model and all main, secondary and tertiary steel design development.
Must work in a team environment and coordinate all aspects of the design with the project management team,engineering disciplines, and the Client. Full knowledge of analyzes for In place, Load out, Transportation, & Lift.
Must be well versed in AISC, APR RP2A, SACS software and processes applicable to offshore structural designs.Familiarity with offshore engineering practices and trends.
