Our client is seeking someone who has a broad base of good reservoir engineeringtechnical skills to impact the companies local & international assets.
The successful applicant will work on an initial six month contract within a multidisciplinary team to oversee the subsurface aspects of development programs & support the planning to quantify & test exploration opportunities. Your main responsibilities will involve reservoir simulation, model building, production forecasting, decline curve analysis, field development planning, reservoir performance monitoring, and data acquisition programs & reserves evaluation.

Experience required:
* Degree in Reservoir/Petroleum Engineering or related subject;
* 15 + years experience in the Petroleum industry;
* Wide ranging experience and a high level of expertise in key reservoir engineering methodologies and applications (eg. reservoir simulation, water/gas injection, EOR, development planning, well testing etc..);
* Operational experience in Oil and Gas fields and Project Management
* Heavy oil experience desired
* Excellent Communication and Leadership skills
