Hook-Up & Pre-Commissioning Positions
Velosihas been a service provider to the engineering industry globally, for more than 27 years – supporting some of the most significant Oil & Gas,Petrochemical, Power Generation, Rail, Aerospaceand Construction Projects in the world. Currently Velosi Energy Consultants are looking to recruit the following Hook-Up and Pre-Commissioning Personnel based in Jakarta Indonesia.
These are permanent positions for Indonesian Nationals Only.
1. Hook up Dept. Leader

These are permanent positions for Indonesian Nationals Only.
1. Hook up Dept. Leader
- Preferably mechanical/ structure/ piping engineer but with strong experiencein running construction project yard & offshore.
- Minimum 15 years in the construction/ project business.
- Job duties: he will coordinate all bids involving hook-up, prepare the man hours, select the support vessel, and estimate tools/equipment/consumables/special subcontractors for the hook-up execution.
2. Pre Commissioning / Hook up Instrumentation
- Preferablyprocess engineer but with a strong knowledge of MS ACCESS data baseand ideally some knowledge of tool book software.
- The candidate should have worked already as technical writer (operating manual) or as Commissioning engineerin a recognized organization.
- Job duties: he will ensure all types of DB installation on any sites, develop reportusing MS ACCESSas a platformor modifying the existing ACCESS DBto suit the reporting requirements. He will write up and coordinate with other disciplines / external contractorsthe operating & maintenance manuals of future projects.
3. Pre Commissioning / Hook up Estimator
- Preferablyprocess engineerbut with a strong knowledge of MS ACCESS data baseand ideally some knowledge of tool book software.
- The candidate should have worked already as technical writer (operating manual) or as Commissioning engineer in a recognized organization.
- Job duties: He will coordinate all bids involvingPre Commissioningon topsides projects, estimate the costs of main subcontracts, and establish the manpower mobilization plan/overall man hour estimation for the Pre Commissioning work. Define the preparation requirements, define list of tools required and establish the main Pre Commissioning qualificationto tenders.
