An excellent opportunity exists to work with THE LEADING company supplying downhole data acquisition and communication equipment to the upstream oil and gas industry.
Since inception they have regularly out-stripping their competition in terms of performance, thus bringing around an increase in workload.

With aspirations to grow into one of the industry's biggest and leading forces, developing in new area's, this organization are looking to hire a Senior Design Engineer now!
The successful applicant will possess experience in the following key areas:
- Ball valves and downhole applications.
- 2D and 3D CAD applications (ideally Autodesk Inventor).
- Materials - metals & elastomers.
- Mechanical components.
- Oilfield downhole tools.
- Stress analysis calculations.
- Project Engineering.
- National & International standards related to Oilfield equipment.
You will be degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, and have substantial subsea design experience. The position is within the R&D Department, dealing with all mechanical aspects with the client's equipment.
This is a varied role providing opportunities to be innovative in your approach. Salary on offer for the role is up to £60,000, with excellent company benefits.
