Involve in the process design workshops, training, testing and data migration for SmartPlant Materials implementation.
• Provide SmartPlant Materials support to users post implementation - problem resolution and troubleshooting.
• Conduct workshops to scope out user requirements for new enhancements, design the appropriate solution for user, write functional specifications, and configure SmartPlant Materials based on requirements.
• Conduct user acceptance testing.
• Design appropriate interfaces from SmartPlant 3D and other design software to SmartPlant Materials, from SmartPlant Materials to SAP and other software.
• Conduct SmartPlant Materials training to users, developing training materials as appropriate.
• Manage the in house team and/ or external consultants for projects when required.
• Manage external vendor as appropriate.
• Communicate project direction, approach, priorities, events and status to all project resources.
• Effectively communicate project expectations, project goals and scope to the team.
3 to 5 years of construction experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge in piping, tankage or structural manufacturing/construction.
• 1 to 2 years experience in SmartPlant Materials.
• Knowledge of interfacing SmartPlant Materials/MARIAN to SP3D and other software would be advantageous.
