The position will be based offshore on platform, providing Electrical Commissioning Engineering input to all aspects of offshore Commissioning.
Responsibilities and duties
- Participate in Asset HSE Programmes (STOP/Audit/Incident Review);
- Review Electrical Commissioning design packages / job packs to ensure that they are optimized and take due account of commissioning issues;
- Resolve Technical Queries, with recourse to 3rd Party Designers as necessary;
- Liaise with Electrical Commissioning Contractors, clarifying all design aspects to ensure that they are safely and efficiently constructed / tested / commissioned;
- Liaise Provide required input to Company planning / scheduling / progress-monitoring / costing activities;
- Provide technical input to ensure technical completeness and integrity of constructed facilities.
- Major brown-field offshore construction environment concurrent with Drilling and Production operations.
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Fluency in Russian and English
- Engineering degree in relevant sphere
- Detailed technical knowledge of offshore engineering.
- Experience in Russian oil and gas industry;
- Knowledge of Russian Industrial regulations on Labour Safety Rules (RTN);
- Fundamentals of labour health and fire safety.
