Senior Reservoir Engineer – Syria – staff or long term contract - £80-100,000 nett salary, full ex pat package

My client is a successful international oil company with a base in Syria. They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their growing technical team working with their Syrian assets on a full time or long term contractual basis. You will be working for a rapidly growing oil company and have direct contact with the country manager on a day to day basis. My client is looking to have a successful candidate on board by the start of 2011 or as soon as possible. The key requirements are:

* 10 to 30 yrs experience working with an operator
* Strong skills in simulation using ECLIPSE or Petrel
* Experience in working on Middle East and North African assets, Syrian experience a big advantage
* Unconventional experience in plastic or carbonate environments an advantage
* Arabic language skills not required but beneficial

In return for your expertise you can expect an industry leading for long term contracts. Permanent candidates can expect a full ex pat package and a net salary of £80,000 - £100,000. Other benefits include a housing allowance, car allowance, private healthcare and schooling allowance.
