ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works closely with Development/Production Geophysicists & Reservoir Engineers, Drilling Team, Completions Team, Subsurface Modeling Specialists, as part of an integrated evaluation team.

Integrates information from well logs, core, biostratigraphic reports and seismic data to develop an interpretation of deepwater depositional environments and facilities.
Works on a multidisciplinary team to develop 3-D structural and reservoir property models using reservoir modeling software, such as Petrel.

Quantifies subsurface uncertainty using stochastic modeling techniques and works with Reservoir Engineers to derive hydrocarbon resource distribution estimates during the development phase of deepwater discoveries.

Establishes the technical basis for well objectives and locations and works with Geophysicists, Reservoir Engineers and the Drilling Team to plan development wells.

Estimates oil and gas reserves in proven or prospective fields. Works closely with Reservoir Engineers in the development option screening process.

Assists in evaluation of acquisition proposals, which may include data room visitation.

Experience:
Master's degree in Geology or Geophysics, plus 6 years of oil and gas appraisal or development experience on a multidisciplinary team.

Deepwater oil and gas appraisal or development experience strongly preferred.

Experience with reservoir modeling software, such as Petrel.
