SENIOR EXPLORATION GEOLOGIST
The Exploration Geologist will work within the company exploration group to:
• Build and maintain regional and sub regional geologic framework for SE Asia and Indonesia;
• Effectively execute company s exploration commitments on Indonesian PSCs;
• Participate in play and prospect generation for exploration bid rounds in Indonesia;
• Participate in play and prospect generation for Indonesian Joint Study Agreements;
• Collaborate with the company exploration groups in Jakarta and the Head Quarter office on new ventures in SE Asia.
SENIOR EXPLORATION GEOLOGIST

• Participate in play and prospect generation for exploration bid rounds in Indonesia;
• Participate in play and prospect generation for Indonesian Joint Study Agreements;
• Collaborate with the company exploration groups in Jakarta and the Head Quarter office on new ventures in SE Asia.
Main Duties & Key Responsibilities:
Work in a multi-disciplinary team in Jakarta with responsibility for:
• Regional geologic and geophysical framework for hydrocarbon systems, leads, and prospects;
• Play, lead, and prospect valuation, ranking, and risking;
• Prospect maturation, well planning, and drilling;
• Seismic, potential fields, and geologic data integration and interpretation;
• Establishing and maintaining professional industry relationships to expand knowledge and develop useful contacts;
• Representing the company in effective communication with BPMIGAS, MIGAS, Universities, and partner /competitor companies regarding geoscience, regulatory, and finance components of exploration operations;
Requirements:
• Degree in Geology;
• Good English communication, both written & oral;
• 8 – 15 years experience in hydrocarbon exploration;
• Effective exploration record substantiated with recommendations from co-worker and managers;
• Deepwater drilling operations experience an advantage;
• Workstation applications experience (Landmark or equivalent) an advantage;
