Specifics:
•The Asset Team will consist of an Exploitation Geoscientist and Reservoir Engineer. The Asset Team will also work with the Production / Operations Engineer, Completions Engineer and Drilling Engineer.
•SMT Kingdom 3D workstation will be provided.
•Generate, identify, evaluate and recommend prospects for drilling and recompletions.
•Geological and geophysical mapping and log analysis/interpretation in connection with field development programs.
•Work with the Reservoir Engineer in performing field studies which result in generating workover, recompletion and drilling projects.
•Prepare geological prognoses for development wells
•Work with the Drilling Engineer to get wells planned and drilled.
•Provide technical input and log evaluations during the drilling or wells.

•A proven record of historical success in GOM Shelf exploitation. A listing of successes should be provided.
•Expertise with Gulf of Mexico geology and geophysics.
•In-depth understanding of salt tectonics, regional stratigraphic and major play types.
•Well developed and applied expertise in advanced seismic applications including:
o Workstation interpretation and mapping expertise.
o AVO and amplitude evaluation, fluid substitution modeling, etc.
o Depth imaging and other seismic processing applications.
o Seismic-lithology understanding, log correlation and basic analysis.
o Recognition of velocity / pressure issues as they relate to prospects and drilling.
