Designation : Construction / Project Engineer- Electrical
Job Location : Oman
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: As project Engineer you will be responsible for Electrical Job of cross country pipeline, Gas Pipeline & pumping station, Main construction activities are :
Knowledge in switch yard protection relays and generator protection relays (Make: CSPC, ABB, EASUN REYROLE and ALSTOM).
. Knowledge in testing, commissioning and programming of VFD'S.
. Knowledge in testing ,troubleshooting and maintenance of Alternators,Power Transformers, SF6 Breakers, VCB'S, ACB'S, CT'S&PT'S, Lightning Arresters, Isolator Switches and AB Switches.
. Erection, testing and commissioning of OLTC, RTCC Panel, H.T & L.T Panels, ESP Panels, Battery Charger Panels, AVR&UPS Panels, Turbine control panels, NGT & NGR Panels, LAVT Panels, Installation of L.T Panels and H.T 6.6Kv & 11Kv Panels.
. Knowledge in H.T Power, L.T Power & Control and Signal Cabling, Earthing System and Lighting Accessories
. Maintenance and Troubleshooting of 400/16.5KV, 220/15.75KV and 33/11 KV Switchyard
. Knowledge in Instrumentation like Maintenance and Testing of all kinds of Process Instruments like Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Level and Draught transmitters, I/P converters and Level controllers, Solenoid valves, limit switches, vibrating switches & Probes and pressure switches.
. Operation, Maintenance & Trouble shooting of Motorized and Pneumatic control valves, Air Compressors and Air Driers etc.
. Maintenance & Trouble shooting of programmable logic controllers (PLC).
. Operation, Maintenance & Trouble shooting of Yokogawa Centum 3000 and Syspro MAX DNA make DCS.
. Knowledge in parallel operation (synchronization) of Turbine Generators with grid supply and between alternators of 415V supply.
. Knowledge in materials handling and managing of Supervisors
. Knowledge in Breakdown, Preventive and Shutdown Maintenance
. Knowledge in dealing with Vendors, Service Engineers and letter correspondence
. Knowledge in Records and Files Maintenance.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS : Ideal candiadate for the job should be BE/BTech. Electrical with 5-10 yrs of experience in Piping project activities of gas pipeline projects. Candidate with Middle East experience will be an advantage.
