Urgent Requirement Senior Technical Assistant Oil & Gas Company

Progressive are recruiting for a successful international oil & gas explorer based in Subiaco, Perth. With assets in the North West Shelf and interests in major development projects worldwide, we are currently sourcing a Technical Assistant with considerable expertise to join an exceptional team who have a high level of innovation that push boundaries. This is a group of industry professionals that have built a strong reputation on the market growing the company to enormous profitable levels over the past few years.

Main Responsibilities:
* The successful candidate will be providing geological / geophysical technical & administrative support to a small multidisciplinary team of geoscientists & engineers.
* A variety of tasks including subsurface mapping, database information management, gridding, geological reporting, data loading and geoscience analysis.
*Maintaining GIS data using Arcview and assuring data integrity

Requirements:
* Must be a Permanent Resident of Australia & based in Perth
* ESSENTIAL - Geoscience Degree (Geology or Geophysics) Oil & Gas related not MINING & RESOURCES
* At least 10 years industry experience in a similar role (oil & gas)
* Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in a number of industry standard G & G applications and databases including Petrel, Openwork (seisworks, Petrosys) Kingdom & Arc view.
*Excellent verbal & written communication skills
