In a nutshell, my client is seeking an experienced Principal Safety/Loss Prevention Engineer with more than 8-10 years experience in Subsea or Offshore/Onshore Industry. Below is a short description of the role.

Our Client is recognized as a World Class Global organization with offices on every Continent. The company is a leader in the development and execution of major Offshore Engineering to its Clients across the region. With the substantial growth in its operations and the planned growth to be achieved, they seek a technically competent, innovative, solutions and team orientated Principal Safety/Loss Prevention Engineer to work with their team.
You will be working within a professional and dynamic working environment and a lead a team of like-minded safety & risk engineers. You will prepare and manage both Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Assessments, which would include fault tree and event tree analysis, hazard identification, FMECA techniques and consequence modelling. You will be highly involved in safety/loss prevention design activities and formal safety assessments with reputed EPC contracting companies in the O&G business.
To succeed in this role, it is expected that you possess at least 8-10 years of professional experience especially in designing loss prevention and writing formal safety assessments for Subsea or Offshore projects. Your experience will also have seen you facilitate safety reviews such as HAZOP, HAZID, etc. You should be a tertiary educated chemical engineer by background and have done substantial work in Oil and Gas offshore and onshore projects.
