Job - LEAD EXPEDITOR & INSPECTION COORDINATOR

The Lead Expeditor (12 month duration)

shall be responsible for :
1.Supervising a group of desk and field Expeditors to ensure that all the materials and services are timely delivered and or performed in accordance with the WORK time schedule. He/she shall update and submit on a weekly and monthly basis the Expediting, VDRL Status, Progress and OSD Reports.

2.He/she shall be responsible to expedite his internal team, CONSULTANT’S other disciplines, Vendors / Subcontractors, Sub-vendors / Sub-Subcontractors, Freight Forwarders, Warehouseman, Document Controller and the like. He/she shall expedite Vendors / Subcontractors for the timely submission of vendor documents, including all final vendor documentation in accordance with approved SDRL, progress reports, inspections and testing.
3.The Lead Expeditor shall coordinate with the Inspection Coordinator on Inspection visits, with Logistics Coordinator on all shipping arrangements, with Warehousing Manager on Overage, Shortage and Damage Materials, and with Engineering and Construction on all aspects of Engineering and Construction issues.


Requirement :
1.At least a Bachelor Degree in an Engineering related field or a Construction Management Degree plus knowledge of materials purchasing and management and a minimum of ten (10) years of applicable experience in the business of Expediting in oil and gas industry

2.and have worked on at least two (2) similar size and type of projects in the capacity of Lead Expeditor

3.He/she must possess a good knowledge of vendors’ market condition, be able to anticipate and identify potential problems.

4.He/she must be experienced in the use of computer programs applicable on control and tracking of materials from MTO issuance to receipt at warehouse, including administration and control of overage, shortage and damage materials.



Inspection Coordinator (12 months duration)

shall be responsible for :
1.Vendor Inspection, Testing, Reviewing of Material and Test Certificates, Vendor Assessment and Audits.

2.He/she shall be well versed in QA / QC and HSE Requirements, ISO standards, Vendors Inspection and Test Plan, Release Certificates and also administration of the Third Party Inspection Agreement.

3.He/she shall monitor, coordinate inspection visits by CONSULTANT’s own QA/QC Inspector or Third Party Inspector at Vendors / Subcontractors, Sub Vendors and Sub Subcontractors facility based on Vendors / Subcontractors approved Inspection and Test Plan and Inspection Schedule.

4.In addition he/she shall expedite the timely submission of Inspection Reports and report to his Management, Procurement Coordinator and Procurement Manager of any problem resulting from the inspection and to propose proper corrective action and shall also perform periodically vendor assessment and vendor audit in accordance with the requirement of ISO 9000 requirement.


Requirement :
1.shall have at least a Bachelor Degree in an engineering related field or a Quality Management Degree plus knowledge of oil and gas Industry Standards.
2.He shall have minimum eight (8) years of applicable experience in the business of QA/QC or QHSE in oil and gas industry.
3.He/she shall have acted in the capacity of Inspection Coordinator on at least two (2) projects of similar size and type of this project .
