Responsibilities:
* Responsible to ensure the weekly progress reporting is kept up to date and accurate at all times.
* Prepare level 2-project schedule to serve as basis and guide by sub-contractors in making level 4-detailed work schedules.
* Check the planning package submittable by the sub-contractor and make recommendation to the management for it approval as the project baseline.
* Review actual weekly progress submittable by sub-contractors, which include the actual progress s-curve and Manpower Histogram that will be compared to the approved baseline.
* Prepare progress analysis explaining “Cause and effect” of variances incurred in the project.
* Maintain Baseline schedule.Take a periodic walk around at the project site to check actual work progress and also take progress photos for file and presentation to the management.
* Furnish the QS current project status (percentage of work currently done), for progress billing to client and sub-contractors as well.Attend weekly progress meeting with the client.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
* At least 10 years Project Planning experience in Oil and Gas and Petrochemical Industries.
* Must be able to demonstrate good skills in project management and resource management .
* Demonstrate Primavera Project Planning software of P6 operating expertise.
* Ability to apply Critical Path Method planning techniques to develop detail Engineering and Project networks and schedules.
* Applicants should be Singaporean citizens or hold relevant residence status.
* Must be able to communicate well in Mandarin.
