Our client is seeking a Contract Engineer to be placed in Jakarta office based on the following requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
* having experience in Oil &and Gas Industry
* salary negotiable
* Certified in PTK007 is preferable

JOB SUMMARY
Accountable for the development, implementation, monitoring & control of Contract administration effectively and efficiently in order to meet / surpass stakeholders' expectation in terms of budget and first gas target date
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Establishes effective & efficient Contract Management by having systematic administration system under the instruction of Project Control Manager
* Facilitates , guides and advises the PMT all contractual matters to ensure the compliance to the contract, government regulation, company policies, standard practices & QSHE principles
* Assists to monitor contractor(s)' implementation of Engineering , Procurement and Construction work to be in line with the agreed contract as the primary reference
* Drafts, reviews and follows up all project correspondences and advises any problem areas together with identification of any changes to the contract
* Interfaces with Procurement section in SCM department especially to secure the necessary BP Migas approval on contract amendment
* Coordinates all contractual issues / works related to the project and ensures the clear & accurate records to monitor key dates
* Evaluates, negotiates and concludes agreement to costs & revenue by verifying / quantifying the volume of any necessary variation and suggests best option to minimize additional contract cost
* Attending all meetings relating to Project Progress, technical contractual matters, and assists in documenting such meetings in the minutes
* Consults and always gets Project Control Manager & VP TSB' s prior approval for any scope change, process variation, inter-department interface which is strategy / policy / money-related issues
* Other ad-hoc duties assigned
