Geosciences - Development Studies Engineer
Job Description:
• Performing technical development studies in the field of Energy Efficiency or providing assistance to architects in order to implement energy efficient solutions for the future developments of company fields.
• Performing technical studies for the ARO of Total Indonesia operated assets in line with local, international and Company rules and specifications.
• Should ensure that these studies follow Group s standard, rules and regulation for technical, health, safety & environment and sustainable development.
• Screening / comparing / evaluating / selecting the best concept based on their operability vs cost and economics.
• Coordinating the preparation of projects for approval by Headquarters, Indonesian authorities (BP Migas) and partners.
Requirements:
• Engineering degree from Geologist or Petroleum Engineer.
• At least 7 for Junior and 11 years experience for Senior one in the oil and gas industry (Exploration & Production).
• Shall have a good knowledge in the Field Operations, Projects, HSE or Drilling.
• Shall have the ability to work in transverse relationships.
• Job requires creativity; it also necessitates to take a critical but constructive look at all proposal.
• Shall efficiently champion his positions and ideas.
General Manager (Coal)
Job Description:
• Develop business models and strategic initiatives for coal projects in Indonesia
• Lead and grow the coal business development and commercial efforts
• Secure coal concessions for prospective acreage on HTI and palm plantation acreage
• Review feasibility studies, technical specifications, cost estimates and timeline for development of coal business
• Foster and enhance close working relationship and partnership with key partners for coal business to maximize the returns to the Company as well as ensure that the Company s interests are protected
• Identify new business opportunities and obtain buy-in from different stakeholders. Obtain approvals from the relevant government authorities and secure funding from commercial banks
• Assist other BGs in coordinating activities and securing approvals for coal projects
• Foster and enhance close working and social relationship with key senior officials of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and other relevant oil & gas government agencies
• Constantly monitor and keep abreast of latest development and changes in regulations and activities of key government authorities to ensure that the Company s activities and interests are aligned
Requirements:
• Good Engineering degree or higher from reputable universities
• Minimum 15 years of relevant coal business development and commercial experience
• Proven track record in coal business development and commercial exposure
• Strong and effective communication, negotiation and coordination skills, especially with key partners and government regulatory authorities
• Very familiar with commercial rules/regulations of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and key government regulatory bodies in the Coal industry
• An independent, resourceful and self driven team player with strong leadership, problem solving and organization skills
• Effective in Bahasa Indonesia, English and Chinese
