Our client is a large control systems integration company based in Aberdeen and they are looking to recruit a control systems engineer to join their rapidly expanding team. The client offer an excellent salary and benefits package and an outline of the technical skills required are detailed below:
Reporting to the Project Manager in order to agree the course of action necessary to complete the assigned project in a timely and successful manner within the engineering budget
Work alongside customers to understand their project requirements and develop automation system solutions.
Responsible for interface to the client and project team on technical issues relating to the project
Responsible for the technical correctness of the software and associated instrumentation together with technical documentation
Production of design and test documentation
Compliance to engineering standards and assistance with their further development
To assist customer staff in the resolution of product service and application problems
Responsible for visiting client sites and installations onshore and offshore, assisting in design studies, H/W & S/W upgrades & modifications, acceptance tests, installation, commissioning, training, fault analysis and rectification
Be flexible to work worldwide including offshore on a rotation basis and work additional hours and weekends to support the customer
