ENGINEERING JOBS
NDT & PAINTING INSPECTOR
Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Responsible for the satisfactory completion of all piping works to specifications, drawing and schedule
• Review and approval of Contractor’s Test packages assuring that it meets the piping system, pressures and limits as per approved P& ID’s and Isometric drawings.
• Check mechanical completion and Hydro test nos.
• Conduct piping system walk down to ensure punch list close out prior to Hydro test
• Monitor/ witness mechanical testing such as hydrostatic/pneumatic, flishing and other testing as may be required
• Assist construction flange management team for final inspection of pipe work flanges after reinstatement.
• Surveillance of the Contractor’s activities to ensure that pipe works fabrication and installation welding & NDT activities are carried out in accordance with the approved specifications, procedures and ITP’s
• Coordinate with construction/commissioning teams for the Final inspection, testing and approval of the system.
• Initiate in raising Non-conformance reports in any case of non-conformity or deviation from specs arises.
• Check and inspect blasting and painting work.
• Review piping completion packages
• Ensure that contractor abides by the Safety Standards of the Company’s HSE Policy and perform ASA and STOP cards requirements
Qualification & Experience Requirements
• Must hold Diploma / Bachelor in Engineering
• Must posses certified welding inspector CSWIP 3.1, 3.2, ASNT level 1 – NDT
• Possess blasting and painting inspection experiences
• At least 10 years experiences in Mechanical work to Oil and Gas industry
• At least 3 years experiences in Mechanical Management / Coordination / Supervision
• Age between 30-55 years and health
• Good communicator at all levels with fluent written and spoken English
• Able to work as part of multi-national, multi-cultural team, team and to establish excellent working relationships with all parties
• High degree of problem solving ability
• Able to work unsupervised within designated framework
• Able to handle complex issues involving multiple disciplines and priorities
• Autonomous decision making authority within designated framework
• Responsibility level to reflect authority

HV Electrical Commissioning Engineer
Project: Major development offshore Vietnam, including processing and Wellhead platforms, floating storage, offloading and pipelines
Role:
· Fabrication site based.
· Preparing electrical input to commissioning plans.
· Prepare detailed commissioning procedures inclusive of HV/LV switching and temporary power requirements.
· Prepare electrical sub-system breakdown.
· Verify correct population of PPMS CMS Database.
· Witness and verify Contractor Mechanical Completion and Pre-commissioning.
· Participation in system / sub-system punch list verification and acceptance.
· Supervise and guide Contractors pre-commissioning personnel where necessary.
· Review FAT documentation and attend subsequent testing as required.
· Carryout both onshore and offshore dynamic commissioning and assist other disciplines where necessary.
· Prepare special tools and spares requirement.
· Act as Senior Authorised Electrical Person for all PTW & Isolation requirements.
· Participate and lead risk assessments and toolbox talks.
Qualifications / Experience:
· Minimum HNC Electrical Engineering.
· Minimum 15 years Project Experience including offshore.
· Extensive experience of commissioning electrical systems essential.
* Effective team work in a multi-cultural team essential.
* Experience in Client PMT.
· Valid Hazardous Area (Complex or similar) training.
· Demonstrable experience of HV Electrical systems and applicable switching procedures.
· Demonstrable experience of acting as SAEP (Senior Authorized Electrical Person).
· Working knowledge of completion management software.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Fluent English.
· Good interpersonal skills, working with diverse multi-cultural & multi-disciplined teams.
· Current BOSIET / HUET certificate preferred.
· Exposure to S.E. Asian Projects preferred.
