Our client, an international EPCM company, is seeking candidates for the role of HR Manager to work within the Hebron project. This six (6) month contract has potential of extension for a possible 30 month campaign.
We are looking for a candidate with the following background:
- Experienced generalist HR Manager with a minimum of 5 years offshore HR project experience, preferably someone with previous drilling knowledge but not essential

Qualifications:
- Extensive oil and gas industry experience and/or educational qualifications required
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To assist in the move from Houston and set-up of the regional office and infrastructure
- Administration of visa and work permit requirements in conjunction with the service providers/agents for staff moving from Houston to St John's
- Recruitment of up to 40 new positions: logging new project contract/staff positions and instructing the service agents with these requirements and filtering prospective CVs
- Assist with professional engineering registration for the company and individuals, where required and monitor progress
- Oversee the provisions of service agents for the supply of personnel, rates, well-being etc
- Oversee and verify costs of accommodation and local and international transport requirements in unison with the service providers and their agents
- Providing related metrics to major contractor, with monthly updates
- Ensuring that the company's staff employee requirements are managed according to corporate guidelines, in terms of discipline, HSEQ, competency and rate & allowances structure
- Act as liaison with Hebron Project Manager and other subcontracting HR contacts
