Position Summary:
My clients are one of the world's leading FPSO company based in Norway. They employ around 5000 people worldwide and had a turnover around 15 Billion NOK last year. Due to recent growth they are currently recruiting for a Naval Architect.

My clients are one of the world's leading FPSO company based in Norway. They employ around 5000 people worldwide and had a turnover around 15 Billion NOK last year. Due to recent growth they are currently recruiting for a Naval Architect.
Responsibilities include:
•Structural integrity of hull
•Structural strength of topside
•Operational support
•Participate in modifications related to the FPSOs
•Tender work and project work within discipline
•Inspections/audits offshore
•Prepare, maintain and update manuals, philosophy documents, project documentation, drawings and specifications
Requirements (Knowledge, Skill and Abilities)
•Educated Engineer from University or University College
•Minimum 5 years working experience with ship constructions in marine and/or offshore business
•Familiar with relevant rules, regulations and standards within his/her area of responsibility
•Self-motivated with strong initiative to learn
•Flexible - some traveling and work outside normal work hours must be expected from time to time
•Good written and verbal communication skills
•Must speak and write English and Scandinavian language
•Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
