ENGINEERING JOBS
Our Client, a Leading Oil Refining Company in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is seeking Indonesian oil and gas professional to join their oil refining team as:

Workshop Section Head

Basic Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• 15 Years experience in diverse metal crafts including machine tooling, bench fitting and the fabrication welding and repair, with some experience of vehicle maintenance and civil business, preferably within a Refinery or Petrochemical plant of which 4 years should have been in a senior supervisory position.
Responsibilities:
Directs and supervises the activities of workshop, heavy equipment and civil maintenance services in the plant and maintenance and repair of a wide range of heavy mobile and fixed equipment and vehicles and the fabrication of special tools and spare parts that are urgently required or not available in order to support maintenance activities of the complex Refinery, Power plant, Desalinated units and other facilities at RRD.


Manager Technical & Engineering

Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Engineering
• 15 years experience in Refining or petrochemical field out of which 7 years should have been in a at department manager level.

Responsibilities:
The incumbent is responsible for directing and managing three crucial departments of RRD namely Technical Services, Engineering Development and Plant Integrity Departments. The incumbent reports to Refinery Manager who is responsible for over-all management of complex refinery with daily production of 400,000 BPD and supporting utilities producing water & 600 MW power. . Responsible to ensure the Divisional KPIs related to all these departments are met, business processes are updated and technology best practices are incorporated in these departments. Through Technical Department Manager, he ensures that directions and strategies are set for refinery production and other plans based on economic indicators, resource implications to meet marketing requirement in order to maximize the profitability of the business. In addition, he ensures effective analysis of plant operations, resolution of existing problems, studies to enhance performance, evaluation of technology advances, timely audits and benchmarking studies are implemented. . Through Engineering Development Manager, he insures that the division products are budget


Mechanical Maintenance Section Head

Basic Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• 15 Years experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of heavy rotating and stationary equipment; and their control/ electrical systems preferably in a power/desalination plant or in oil/gas or petrochemical industry including 5 years in a senior supervisory position.
• Good knowledge of English

Responsibilities:
Directs, coordinates and supervises all mechanical maintenance and workshop activities in the plant and offsite. Includes participating in the preparation of maintenance programmes, directing the implementation of such programmes, investigating modification and new projects proposals, examining equipment performance and providing recommendations to enhance maintainability and to minimize maintenance cost, Ensuring that all maintenance services are provided safely and efficiently.


HSE & Fire Department Manager

Basic Requirements:
• B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering or Equivalent.
• 10 Years experience in various aspects of safety, Environment, Fire and Security, preferably in an oil refinery or petrochemical plant, of which at least 6 years should have been in a supervisory position.

Responsibilities:
Plans, Coordinates & Controls the activities of Safety, Environment & Fire Department. Towards directing Adequate Health, Safety, Environment, Fire, Security and loss control Programmes in the plant includes developing, upgrading, establishing and ensuring implementation of safety codes and Accident prevention and Environment Protection Control Programmes. Providing professional advice and assistance to Plant Management on fire prevention, security control, pollution control and loss control technology and coordinates such activities with Government authorities, ensuring adequate coverage and observance of procedures in handling fire, accidents, environmental pollution, security and other emergency situations.


Condensate Section Head

Basic Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 9 Years of diversified experience in Refinery/Gas processing operations, out of which 4 years should have been in a senior supervisory level.

Responsibilities:
-Supervisors and controls operations of condensate processing trains processing 280,000 barrels per day to produce environmental friendly refined value added predetermined quantities of specified products meeting divisional objectives for the plants.
-Meets production and quality targets set in conjunction with Production Planning to meet marketing demands of the products.
-Reviews operating parameters and plant conditions on continual basis, modifies them as per company’s procedure, trouble-shoots plant problems and handles plant emergencies to ensure that the plants are operated efficiently and safely. Closely involved in the maintenance planning aspects with maintenance and job safety analysis to ensure that all work carried out in his area meets HSE standards.
-Ensures optimal consumption of chemicals, energy and other additives to produce right mix and product blends as agreed.
-Initiates and reviews plant improvement, modification, and operating/ capital budget / proposals in line with the best operating practices and the industry trends.
-Monitors the training function in the department to achieve predetermined nationalization targets and implements As a custodian of the plant, ensures that the HSEMS system is fully implemented in his area. Ensures that a


Laboratory Section Head

Basic Requirements:
• B.Sc. degree in Chemical engineering or equivalent.
• 9 years experience in a petroleum refinery laboratory involving a wide knowledge of chemical testing and analyzes, including 4 years in a supervisory position.

Responsibilities:
Directs and supervises all activities of the production laboratory involving the performance of a wide variety of physical and chemical tests for effective operational control of all plant and equipment. Coordinates with Operations and Technical Services Department Heads for analysis, schedules, test runs, shutdowns, startup and technical surveys.
Monitors a wide variety of physical and chemical tests for effective operational/products quality control for various Refinery Process Units, Utilities, Offsite and GUP Provide information and advice of technical


Safety Section Head

Basic Requirements:
• B.Sc in Science, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
• 9 years experience in various aspects of safety engineering, preferably in Oil Refinery or petrochemical Plant, of years should have been in a supervisory level.
