Our client, a leading global provider of technology solutions for the energy sector is looking for a Design / Project Engineer with experience in Subsea System Engineering and Engineering Management for a 1 year renewable contract in St. John's, Newfoundland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for project engineering activities of subsea structures.
Our client, a leading global provider of technology solutions for the energy sector is looking for a Design / Project Engineer with experience in Subsea System Engineering and Engineering Management for a 1 year renewable contract in St. John's, Newfoundland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for project engineering activities of subsea structures.
Main Tasks:
- Responsible for design and project engineering in of subsea structures
- Technical supervision of the design of Subsea Structures
- Preparation of optimal systems solutions for Subsea Structures in cooperation with the Project management and external customers
- Responsibility for compiling function and design specifications, test procedures and user documentation
- Responsible for external and internal interfaces
- Review contract specifications in order to identify requirements related to deliveries and communicate with the supply chain when needed
- Provide input to track and control changes
- Assist during system tests and offshore installation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering with technical background as Project Engineer or Technical Supervisor
- Experience from subsea developments preferable
- Must be able to travel to Houston for training.
