Our client, a major Oil & Gas Operator, due to continued growth is currently looking to recruit a Systems Accountant to be based in Perth, Western Australia.
The main purpose of this role is to provide accounting systems support for their Australian assets including both operated and non-operated Joint Ventures.
Our client, a major Oil & Gas Operator, due to continued growth is currently looking to recruit a Systems Accountant to be based in Perth, Western Australia.
The main purpose of this role is to provide accounting systems support for their Australian assets including both operated and non-operated Joint Ventures.
Key responsibilities will include:
o Verifying integrity of data interfaced with SAP
o Coordinate and monitor the movement of transports into relevant systems
o Act as the finance teams functional expert for FI/CO and JVA
The successful individual will hold a degree in either accounting or information systems, be CPA/CA certified and have at least 5 years experience within the Oil & Gas sector with at least 3 of those years working closely with a financial or joint venture accounting team.
You must also have expert capability of SAP R/3 V4.6 - FI, CO (PS and IO) modules and a good understanding of JVA, MM, PM, BW and other modules.
