Progressive is currently recruiting an experienced Refining Process Engineer for a whole renowned engineering organization in the petroleum refining industry to be based in Malaysia, KL.
The Refining Process Engineer responsibilities include performing skilled engineering tasks in refinery data analysis, operation optimization and refinery computer application development / support. Also to provide technical support to refineries with respect to one or more key process technologies, focused on operational improvement, technology selection, optimization, and troubleshooting and technical leadership in broad deployment of improved
technology.

- Malaysian professionals will have an advantage
- BS or MS in Chemical Engineering or relevant engineering degree
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience
- Demonstrate in-depth skills and and knowledge in one or more of the major refining processes
- Practical experiences in troubleshooting and optimum operation of process
systems and familiarity with state-of the art tools in one or more process technologies (RTO, PIMS, ROMeo/ProII)
- Technical leadership experience and skills to facilitate broad-based implementation of technology improvements via multicultural teams is highly desirable
