Progressive Global energy, the leader in Oil & Gas staffing is currently seeking a Principal Drilling Engineer for contract work in the south China Sea.
The position will be China based, and work on a 28-28 rotation, executing well planning & development tasks , as well as leading a team of Drilling Engineers on site. This is a deepwater Production environment, therefore we are looking for people with at least 15 years' total experience, including varying exposure to deepwater production environments.
The client, an international operator, is also seeking the following background & skills:
4+ years' deepwater well planning experience
Minimum 12 years well engineering experience, preferably with major Operators
Fully conversant with and experienced user of the Landmark suite of drilling engineering software
This will be a 6 month initial contract beginning in August 2011, automatic extension (+6) is standard expectation.
