Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience with SMT Seismic Interpretation
Previous experience working the U.S Onshore Resource Plays will be an advantage.
Description:
This is a mid-level position in our geological operations group. The Sr. Operations Geologist will perform well-site duties in addition to providing geological, geophysical and reservoir well operations support for all Exploration, Exploitation, Appraisal and Development wells in the U.S Onshore Operations Group. The Sr. Operations Geologist will work closely with the current Operations Group team members and Chief Petrophysicist to efectively implement the formation evaluation programs for all Exploration, Exploitation, Appraisal and Development wells. The Sr. Operations Geologist will also work closely with the Drilling Department to ensure pre-drill well plans are routinely updated and that the information is effectively communicated thereby contributing to the overall efforts that all wells are safely and efficiently drilled. This individual will work with the current operations geologist and will be mentored by the senior members of the present Onshore team in all phases of hydrocarbon exploration.
