ENGINEERING JOBS
Senior planning engineer required for global sub-sea oil and gas service company. Based in their Perth CBD office, this role reports to the Project Services Director in Perth and the Director of Project Services in Houston. This role has been created due to the company being awarded several major tenders in oil and gas projects to be commenced in Western Australia. As a senior planning engineer you will be responsible for joining the planning team and planning the path of these projects, allowing you to put your stamp on the biggest oil and gas projects in Australia!
In this role you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Developing project schedules and execution plans for all activities on a project, tender or plant the supply chain.
- Being able to work independently, applying planning and scheduling techniques and analysis within the project or plant environment.
-Responsible for developing, maintaining and analyzing critical path plans and related schedules from small, moderate and very large size projects and complexity.
- Monitor schedule progress and earned value progress against baseline plans and instigate proactive corrective action to ensure on time delivery to customer promise dates.
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate:
- Previous planning experience within a manufacturing/engineering/project management environment.
- Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, PertMaster and SAP.
- 7 to 10 years experience in a similar role.
- A strong understanding of the critical path.
- A strong understanding of process technology, preferably from a manufacturing of subsea systems.
- Experience with an EPC or service company in the oil and gas industry.
