SCAFFOLD Inspector/Supervisor
Key Areas of Responsibility:  Assist in developing enhanced Scaffolding and Rigging Standards at the work place  Check, inspect, rectify and certify the scaffold before use.  Check, inspect, rectify and certify rigging work/equipment  Member of the Site Safety committee  Load calculation and materials take off  Conduct regular safety talks covering pertinent topics  Monitor all daily activities to ensure safe work practices are in place  Act to stop any unsafe practices and immediately report any unsafe conditions  Advise on action to prevent recurrence of unsafe acts and conditions  Check on the status of all rigging equipment and scaffolding materials at the worksite and ensure proper documentation is in order  Check and ensure compliance to Permit to Work procedures  Ensure compliance to clients’ safety standards and procedures  Very familiar with the following British standard Code of practices Qualification & Experience Requirements • Preferred Diploma or Bachelor • Must have scaffold certificates: Basic Part 1, Basic Part II, Scaffolding Inspector or Advance Scaffolding/Workshop • Scaffolding Safety • Age: 35 - 55 years and healthy • At least 10 years experiences in scaffolding • At least 3 years experiences in Scaffolding inspector/ Supervisor / Foreman • Good in English both spoken and written • Able to train and lead the local to erect the scaffold • Able to work independently to solve any problem related to scaffold • Able to work with multi-national work force • Experience working in Vietnam
