ENGINEERING JOBS
THE ROLE:
This is a consultant position based out of Houston working on some high level international sites. Predominantly you will be in the office as a design engineer you will have to travel internationally time to time for some field work. This is a deep water completions role. Your contribution to key international projects will spearhead 2011 and 2012 growth for an independent E & P.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To break it down day to day…
• Completion design and equipment specification
• Well designs for both dry tree and sub-sea tree applications
• Operations planning rig procedures
• Health and safety and risk assessment
• Operations support during completion operations.
• Performance reports
• Post operation close
• Completion related contract tender preparation, bid evaluation and contract management (in conjunction with Global Supply Chain).
THE REQUIREMENTS
To take on this position you will ideally have the following experience and profile…
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree qualified
• At least 15 years well engineering with a minimum of 5 years deep water
• Offshore completion experience.
• Xmas tree and associated systems experience.
• Sand control experience.
