Progressive Global Energy is currently representing a world class technical service provider for the oil and gas.
They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Safety Engineer who will be assigned with the role of working on a wide range of safety engineering and risk management services to the oil and gas industry, using a comprehensive
range of tools for consequence modelling and risk analysis.
The senior safety engineer role reports to the Technical Safety Team Leader and has responsibility for delivery of parts of a range of projects and relationships with some customers

Responsibilities:
Participate in risk assessment studies with clients such as HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA and SIL which may include data gathering at client premises
Assess hazards and risks, safety case development, demonstration that risks are ALARP and other such areas required by the client’s need to comply with legislation.
Participate in risk management activities within the Safety & Risk team (or with key clients)
Take personal responsibility for self development – in conjunction with line manager prepare a development plan which reflects agreed areas of required personal / technical development.
