Urgently Required - Senior Well Intervention Engineer, Stavanger, Norway

One of my clients a leading, global group of energy companies with around 9,000 employees in more than 15 countries, are once again looking to expand their team. Due to recent growth and a number of exciting projects lined up for 2011, they are now recruiting for completions and well intervention engineer on an initial 12 months contract.Well Interventions Engineer:

Provide technical input on Subsea Control Systems to the design and delivery of Subsea systems, from early definition of the project to operation of the asset. Work proactively within project teams to meet the project targets.

Implement client’s well department policies, technical standards, control procedures. Work with contractor and supplier base to maintain strategic relationships. Carry out design/technical studies of subsea control systems for various phases of the project.

Requirements:
Engineering degree or equivalent in technical discipline. Lack of formal education can be compensated by experience within the subject.
A demonstrable commitment to HSE and Quality. Good working knowledge of well operational requirements and philosophies.
Driving values improvements to all completions and well intervention activities
Well developed relationship skills as you will have to work in a multi-cultural, diverse environment. E&P engineering or Operations experience. 10 years in completions and well intervention. They offer:
