We are currently seeking of qualified people to run out our project such as Accommodation Work Barge, Push Pull Tug, Anchor handling tug, etc :
Naval Architect (3 persons)
Qualification :
• Perform detail design/drafting of ship structure and outfitting for new shipbuilding and repairs/conversions
• Generate production information for ship structure, hull machinery/equipment installation, hull fitting installation/fabrication, accommodation furnishing, etc
• Perform naval architecture calculations, e.g., stability/hydrostatic, weight distribution, etc
• Prepare documentation for drawing list, material list, production information, weight control, material management, delivery documents, etc
• Use CAD system as a design tool. Customize the CAD application if require to achieve higher productivity in generation of design and production information
• Perform technical evaluation of installation control and design interface documents of marine equipment to ensure successful implementation of designs
• Analyze design issue (includes site checking and tests/trials) and provide most effective solution
Specific Requirements
• Familiar with classification, marine regulatory codes and international standards applicable to shipbuilding and repairs/conversions.
General Requirements
• Recognized university degree in Naval Architecture
MARINE DRAFTSMAN ( 6 positions )
Responsibilities:
-Provide technical and design expertise
-Understanding of Class, Flag and State communications
-Understanding of project scheduling for design
-Produce detailed schematic drawings for all vessel systems
-Update as built drawings
-Developed shop drawing
-Produce equipment foundation drawings
-Produce detailed drive line arrangements and detailed drawings
-Produce interior accommodation layout and furniture drawings
-Adhere to company design standards
Interpersonal Management:
-Liaise with project teams and supervisors for information
-Work with external designers
-Interaction with Classification Societies and other relevant regulatory authorities
-Communicate regularly with Design Team Leader
Requirements:
-Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture or similar
-Minimum 5 Years drafting experience in ship/boat design environment
-Experience in understanding design across a range of vessel types
-Experience with latest ACAD and other drafting/design programs
-Experience with all facets of ship design in a production environment supporting several projects
-Passion for quality work and desire to improve
-Reliable and motivated
-Excellent grasp of the English language
-Clear understanding of model/paper space in a CAD environment
-Exceptional attention to detail
-Demonstration of sensitivity to culturally diverse environments
-Ability to devise and implement innovative work practices aimed at improving productivity
-Excellent organizational skills with a strong focus on achieving results
QA/QC Engineer (Marine/Oil and Gas) ( 3 position )
-Conduct hull/machinery inspection and testing activities Arrange and liaise on survey and inspection items on ships Check and verify structural steel repair drawings Preparation of welding specifications, coordinate and witness all welding tests Ensuring that respective sections follow and adhere to project quality plan Check and endorse inspection records prior to issuance to customers Carry out all QA/QC functions for the project
-Marine-related Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience Good interpersonal skills and possesses leadership qualities Competent knowledge of MS Office applications CSWIP / BNSP certification will an advantage.
