An international dredging and marine contracting company is currently seeking a QHSE Advisor to join their Brisbane operations to assist the QHSE Manager. This is a unique opportunity which will allow you to be Brisbane based and work 4 weeks on and then take 2 weeks off.

The primary duties and responsibilities for the QHSE Advisor include:
• Ensuring Health and Safety requirements comply with all relevant Rules and Regulations
• Undertaking Risk Assessments
• Ensuring Hazards are identified and mitigating procedures are developed
• Evaluating subcontractors/suppliers compliance
• Reporting, Administrating and reviewing regularly the Health and Safety Management Plan
• Undertaking instruction and induction of new project personnel
• Undertaking random spot-checks on project sites and onboard of vessels to verify compliance with the Health and Safety Management Plan
To be successful in the role you must possess:
• Previous Quality, Health, Safety and Environment experience in the marine industry.
• Health and safety qualifications
• Quality or auditing qualifications would be highly desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
