One of my clients a leading, global group of energy companies with around 9,000 employees in more than 15 countries, are once again looking to expand their team. Due to recent growth and a number of exciting projects lined up for 2011, they are now recruiting for a Subsea Controls engineer.
One of my clients a leading, global group of energy companies with around 9,000 employees in more than 15 countries, are once again looking to expand their team. Due to recent growth and a number of exciting projects lined up for 2011, they are now recruiting for a Subsea Controls engineer.
Controls Engineer:
Primary purpose is to provide technical support on Subsea Control Systems, to a portfolio of Deepwater Projects primarily in Norway but with opportunities abroad.
Provide technical input on Subsea Control Systems to the design and delivery of Subsea systems, from early definition of the project to operation of the asset.
Work with contractor and supplier base to maintain strategic relationships.
Carry out design/technical studies of subsea control systems for various phases of the project.
Requirements:
Engineering degree or equivalent in technical discipline. Lack of formal education can be compensated by experience within the subject.
A demonstrable commitment to HSE and Quality.
Good working knowledge of operational requirements and philosophies.
Well developed relationship skills as you will have to work in a multi-cultural, diverse environment.
E&P engineering or Operations experience. 0 - 5 years in Subsea Engineering.
Good communication skills and the ability to work with customers and other team members.
