| Mechanical Planner - Oil and Gas | |
Responsible to coordinate and plan maintenance activities for all trades/crafts at the Work Site. Perform planning of Turnarounds, Shutdowns and Capital Project Work at the Work Site. Gather Job Request and approved Work Order from Owner, and perform forward maintenance planning. Develops detailed activity plan, including duration, for all jobs requiring mechanical resources per Company's requirement. Provide details plan steps, resources and PO in stripes. Create PR for material purchase from approved blanket orders per Company's procedure (in GEMS). Perform warehouse parts reservation (with Company's planner endorsement on hard copy). Orders materials, spare part and follow up on date of delivery. Expedite if necessary. Assist Company's planner for the development and stewarding of Contracts (both people and equipment). Identifies special tools, related drawings, and other special requirements for all jobs requiring mechanical resources per the Company's requirement. Develops and updates detailed cost estimates on all jobs. Assist Company's planner to develop mechanical job packs. Carry out all other related communication activity required for planning. Confirm and update lead times in P3. Attend the Business Units daily mechanical co-ordination meeting. Report status of requisition materials on weekly / monthly basis. Liaison with the relevant Company's personnel (FLS, Engineer, Planner) for details of the work to be performed and material required. Job Requirement: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering More than 5 yrs of work experience in Oil and Gas industry on Metals planning/project work Familiarity with Primavera is an advantage   | |
