This is a long term opportunity with real scope to carve out a strong status and role. This contract could last years with real inter-company flexibility. This contract is looking to pay around 1200 per day. The rate is negotiable.

This is a long term opportunity with real scope to carve out a strong status and role. This contract could last years with real inter-company flexibility. This contract is looking to pay around 1200 per day. The rate is negotiable.
What is the position?
Due to a large restructuring we are currently on the search for a highly skilled production engineer with completion skills for a very unique role. The ideal candidate would either be a completions engineer with a good eye for production or a production engineer who has come from a completions background. You will drive new projects in the Eagleford and bridge a skills gap in 3 other horizontal plays. You will be responsible for the following:
- Designing new completions within horizontal and/or shale plays
- Frac design and frac implementation
- Production optimization
- Onsite visits and implementation supervision
- Office based design and operational engineering
What skills do I need?
- Strong design skills on completions
- Strong production engineering understanding
- Shale and horizontal well experience
- Artificial lift (would be desirable)
- A minimum of 10 years overall experience
- Ideally 5 years within horizontal plays
