Petroleum Engineer – Fluids – London – International Operator – Circa £65k

This is an international operator with a base in London, who is currently looking for a Petroleum Engineer specialized in fluid analysis and characterization. They are in the top 50 oil companies in the world and have aggressive plans to achieve 150,000 boepd by 2025. You will report to the Petroleum Engineering Manager and working on global assets. They are looking to have secured a successful candidate by Jan 2011.

Key requirements:
• Minimum 4 yrs industry experience maximum 10 yrs
• BSc in Petroleum Engineering required, MSc or PhD desirable
• Experience in analysis & characterization in hydrocarbon reservoir fluids required
• Expertise in developing fluid sampling and supervising external PVT lab analysis and input into corrosion studies
• Experience in the area of drilling, completion and simulation fluids
• Advantageous skills – Co2 storage, unconventional experience, operational experience, JV experience
• EU citizens or holder of a UK tier 1 visa only

For your expertise you can expect a salary of circa £65,000 dependant of your skills and experiences. Other benefits include medical insurance, dental care, pension and a car allowance.
