Detailed Description
Prepare completion program including flow modeling, stress analysis, equipment specification and selection and cost estimates.
Ensure completion programs, program amendments and dispensation to policy are prepared on schedule and are adequately risk assessed.
Liaise with sub-surface and production team to ensure life-of-field requirements are built into the completion design.
Monitor all aspects of well completion operations and evaluate operations execution.
Job Requirements
Experience designing and optimizing well completion/recompletion utilizing fracture stimulation, acid, foam and other stimulants and technology.
Proficient with a wide range of artificial lift applications for oil and gas wells including rod pump, submersible pump, gas lift, plunger lift, etc.
Proficient in CT, snubbing, WOR, operations wireline.
Experience with flow assurance issues associated with high wax/paraffin oil production.
Demonstrated experience working with multi-disciplinary teams, including field personnel.
Willingness and ability to travel to field locations as needed.
Ability to coordinate and support multiple service providers and field personnel with clarity in a fast paced environment.
Horizontal completion well work experience preferred.
Additional Details
5+ years experience as a Completions Engineer.
Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Engineering, preferably Petroleum Engineering.
